Composition :

Each 1 ml contains : 100 mg Ciprofloxacin.

Properties :

- Ciproxin : The effective anti-microbial and anti-infectious agent which belongs to the fluoroquinolone group.

- It exerts it’s activity by inhibiting the gyrase enzyme which is essential in the metabolism activity of the bacteria, also it damages the bacterial cell membrane, thus it is effective against bacteria resistant to other antibiotics.

- Charecterized by quick absorption and rapid high serum concentration.

- Has a broad spectrum antibacterial activity which covers a wide range of bacteria and mycoplasmas:

* Gm + ve bacteria : Staph; Stept; Coryne; Enterococci, anaerobes (Clostridia spp. and bacteroides).

* Gm - ve bacteria : E. coli, Salmonella, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Chlamydia, Pseudomonas, Actinobacillus, Proteus, Campylobacter, Citrobacter, Klebsiella, Shigella, Haemophilus.

Indications :

Ciproxin is recommended for the prevention and treatment of different infectious diseases of poultry,ruminants and rabbits
